Go-Kart Party Cardiff Central is operated by Ann and Spencer Bartlett, and from the initial enquiry, through the booking process and to the running of the party, the personal touch is key to the success of the party being as enjoyable for the parents as it is for the children.

Besides specialising in indoor birthday parties, Go-Kart Party is also available for school fetes or sports days, family fun days, fund raising events, corporate and private hire, in fact anywhere that children require entertaining.

Parties are held at leisure centres in and around Cardiff, although we can also travel to you, providing your venue is large enough. Various leisure centres provide food packages after the Go-Kart Party and others can offer a room for self-catering; all your requirements are discussed fully during the booking process.

Go-Kart Party is fully supervised by qualified staff and the karts are completely safe with a low centre of gravity, roll bars, seat belt and surrounding bumpers. They provide the children with a sense of achievement, independence and what they crave for more than anything else, FUN!

The electric powered karts travel at speeds of up to 6mph which can be adjusted to suit age and ability, and can be stopped by the supervisors at any time.

Parties are usually for 60 or 90 minutes karting but can be booked for longer if required. The 60-minute party can cater for up to 16, with the 90-minute party taking a maximum of 24 children.

Safe and considerate driving is encouraged throughout the party – we stress that the go-karts are not bumper cars. At the end of each party there is an award ceremony where all the children receive a “Safe Driver” certificate and a badge.

After a lap of honour and a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’, a trophy is presented to the “Best Driver” (this always seems to be the birthday child funnily enough), with all the other children cheering and applauding.

Since the launch of Go-Kart Party last May, we have participated in many outdoor events, notably the Cardiff Tesco Children’s Festival at Coopers Field. We also take part in the council playschemes at various Cardiff leisure centres – watch out for forthcoming dates on the website.

The birthday parties are now becoming so popular that early booking is advisable, with the trend of joint parties being very popular.
